What is a good Dutch classifieds website aside from MarktPlaats?

Hi Thanks for the great answers! I’m actually trying to see if there are jobs for Americans there, possibly with teaching English, although I know most of you guys speak it already lol. Or any type of job for people outside of the Netherlands. If so, that’d be great

Tom is right. Basically Speuders is the main competition to Marktplaats, but actually is not really a major competitor (despite a lot of advertising and pushing it during the launch).

It does not have as many listings, and if you look, then many are actually repeats of Marktplaats anyway

Otherwise Ebay.nl is available but not as popular (because you pay to list) and tweedehands.net & marktplaza (less popular than Speuders even)

If you are looking for something specific then you can try one of the sites that simultaneously search all sites in one shot e.g. http://www.marktzoeker.nl/

If on the other hand you are looking for a certain type of thing then there are specific sites dealing with this
e.g. cars you can use for example http://autotrader.nl/index.htm
e.g. jobs & accommodation then there are a whole host of sites

So if it is just a general classified site then you can use the above mentioned. If it is a specific type of classifieds your are searching for, then add this to your question and someone can maybe help with specific links.

EDIT, well as I mentioned (in your other question) you have a major headache with the work permit. You can also look on Dutch sites as well, although it won’t really improve your chances that much given the work permit thing, but here is a page with a comprehensive listing of job sites where the links are provided by the job centre dept in the Netherlends
